After graduating from Northern Michigan University, John worked for the Society of Italian Maritime Transport and Tamiment Resort as Entertainment Director. He then moved to New York City to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse under the direction of Sandy Meisner, Bill Esper and Martin Waldron. After a string of theatrical productions (Circle in the Square, Public Theatre, American Theatre of Actors)John ventured into film, working on such productions as Black Rain and January Man. Following a two decade hiatus of raising three beautiful daughters, John has once again returned to his love of acting. 2011 proved to be an excellent springboard into the world of independent films landing a lead in the film Jaguar. A string of a dozen films have followed including features, shorts and pilots highlighting John's trained acting skills as well as fine tuned character attributes. With talents ranging from chicken farmer to fencing John brings a professional certainty and unique character flavor to each production. Aspiring to swim in the same river as Christopher Walkin, Bobby Duvall, Todd Hallowell and Jerry Bruckheimer John continues to do the work. Favorite word: opportunity.
